Happy New Year Everyone!!!
I am excited for this new year and excited to see what it brings us. It is the first New Year that I got to spend with my HUSBAND and it was the best thing ever. I am looking forward to so many things and am so positive about everything. I am a goal setter... always. So of course I have made new goals for the new year! :) Anything that will help me become a happier, healthier, and better person.
1. Yoga:
I plan to start doing yoga a lot! I have done it a few times and really enjoyed it... but I feel that it will help out with some of my health problems I struggle with! I was a cheerleader all throughout middle school and high school... I was used to being flexible, a good tumbler, and in shape!!!! I seriously cannot touch my toes anymore without wanting to die hahaha so I am excited to incorporate yoga into my life so that I can become all of those things again.
This will totally be me one day.... :)
2. Eat Healthier:
My favorite food ever is salad. People always thought I would order salads from restaurants because I didn't know what else to order, but the truth is.... I LOVE SALAD! I could eat it any time of any day (with a good dressing of course). Working in the mall, it has been easier to just purchase food in the food court. But I plan to start taking salads to work along with healthy snacks such as fruit, veggies, and cheese!
3. Fitness:
I want to be fit and toned! I know I am small... I have always been small. But as I get older I have noticed that I am slowly starting to lose some of the definition that I naturally had when I was younger. Found a photo on Pinterest of what I wish to look like here in the next couple of months.
4. Spiritual:
I wish to grow more spiritually. I know I owe a lot more to God than I give him.... this is a section of my life in which I wish to grow drastically! I am excited about my calling in church - I teach sunday school to 16 and 17 year olds! I feel that I have a lot to learn in order to be teaching them! I am learning more and more just by teaching them and for that I am thankful!
5. Hair:
My hair is finally getting pretty long! It is the longest it has been since high school! I have lightened it to the color that I want to keep for a long time as I am continuing to grow it out... so that I won't feel the need to color it or make any crazy changes for a long time. I have no desire to cut it ever, so that's usually not a problem. But the more I damage it, the harder it is to grow it... so my plan is to get it healthier and keep on growing it out! I want to try the coconut oil on it.... if any of you have tried that, what do you think of it!?!?
My goal.
6. Style:
continue refining my style and wearing more of the clothes I currently own by mixing them with other items in my closet :)
I plan to continue to become a better friend, better wife, better person altogether! I am excited and eager to learn how to cook good meals for my husband and so on! The list goes on.... :) What are some of your goals and aspirations for 2013? Would love to hear them!!!
Xo. Nicole

I love Coconut oil. After using it for a week my hair feels back to normal... (I bleached it out to get it a little lighter)
