Floppy Hat & Red Lips //

For the longest time EVER I was looking for a cute floppy hat. I had my eye on one and by the time I was going to for sure get it, it was gone!!! I was so depressed. So I continued my search and on our California trip just recently, I went into a surf shop and saw this one! I instantly knew I HAD to get it. It was a bit pricey but probably one of the best purchases I've ever made.

Another of my adorable nephew Jackson. Isn't his smile the most contagious thing in the world? I swear he has to be the cutest baby I have ever seen in my entire life, and I'm not just being biased because he's my nephew. He is one major stud!!!!!

Found this gem at Bohme this weekend... better believe I bought it. I love black!! (If you couldn't already tell) I am so excited to do an outfit post with it!

New hair & Tribal prints!

Finally got my hair lighter and got the ombré done! Love it so far. I eventually want to even go lighter but that will take some time. My focus is getting it healthier and letting my natural grow in a lot. Back to my no heat challenge. Who's with me?! :)

Easter && JJ's Birthday!

I hope you all had a fantastic Easter holiday/weekend! As I said in my last post, my husband's birthday was on Easter this year. We were able to celebrate his birthday all weekend and it was so much fun! On Friday night we went out to dinner and shopping with my parents! I have the absolute BEST parents ever. They seriously LOVE JJ so much and it works perfectly. I love that because I am such a home-body and my family and I are so close!!! I like seriously don't know what I would do if they didn't like my husband. What a weird situation that would be and I know that happens to people.

On Saturday, we went climbing for awhile with some friends and then we all went out to dinner to a restaurant in Salt Lake called The Porcupine Pub and Grille! SO GOOD!!!! If you live in Utah and can get there, I advise you do so :) It's our favorite!!! After that we went and saw the movie "The Impossible." If you haven't seen it yet, I also advise you do so.... I can't even explain what I feel after having seen that movie. More humble, maybe. Probably one of the hardest movies to watch but I feel it's also necessary to watch. Based on a completely TRUE story! Watch the preview...

Sunday was of course Easter and JJ's Birthday. We first went to one of my best friend's farewells. She is going to make an AMAZING sister missionary. I just love her so much!!! Seriously one of the best girls I have ever known/met and I am so grateful to have her as a friend.

Thursday Thoughts

<> For some reason I have been so unbelievably tired lately. I have even been getting a lot of sleep the past few nights, so it's weird. 

<> It's extremely hard not using hot tools/heat on my hair. I wear my hair as shown below almost daily. Pulled back. Or in a side braid, loose waives... that's pretty much it. Luckily summer is approaching. Perfect time for no heat hairstyles right? 

<> We have been looking into moving to California. Just the beginning stages, so who knows. But it might be our best option for my husband when it's time for dental school. Hey maybe the beach will become my home. Wouldn't be mad about it!

<> I Didn't wear tribal today!!!!! hahaha.

<> Wore a skirt, and I'm not even cold. Maybe it won't snow again this spring... FINGERS CROSSED!

<> I wasn't going to do a blog post today, because I look sort of gross, and my outfit isn't my FAVORITE ever, but I do still like it and one post is better than none? I promise I will have better posts soon. This weekend is going to be a gooood one. Husband's birthday ++ Easter!!!!
